Deep in the cosy woods, Goldilocks had a wonderful surprise! Little Alma had come to visit — she was just three years old, with beautiful blond hair just like Goldilocks!
Simba wagged his tail. Baby Bear jumped up and down. "YAY! A new friend!" everyone cheered.

After lunch, everyone went outside to play. Then Mama Bear stopped and counted heads. Papa Bear. Mama Bear. Goldilocks. Alma. Simba.
"Wait!" gasped Mama Bear. "Where is Baby Bear?!"
Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!Page 2
They searched behind every tree. They looked under every bush. They called and called!
"BABY BEAR! BABY BEAR!"Then tiny Alma stopped very still. She looked down with her sharp little eyes, and pointed her small finger at the ground.
"Look! Paw prints!"

The paw prints led to a BIG tangled bramble bush! Goldilocks pushed and pushed at the branches. "I'm too big!" she said sadly.
But tiny Alma spotted a small gap at the bottom. She took a big brave breath and smiled her biggest smile.
"I can do it!"Page 4
Alma crept through the brambles and there — tucked inside a cosy hollow log — was Baby Bear! Fast asleep, snoring softly!
Snoooore... Snoooore...Alma gently placed her tiny hand on his soft paw. "Wake up, Baby Bear," she whispered sweetly. "Everyone is looking for you!"
